losing recorded tracks

I'm losing my recorded tracks. I recorded a few tracks the day before yesterday. When I was recording a track yesterday, it crashed? midway and the old tracks were gone and the current track was half lost. I started tracking again and today only this last track shows up. The failed is now also gone. Disapponting feature this is untill now.
